BART riders on the Pittsburg/Bay Point line are experiencing delays this morning of up to 20 minutes, according to BART operators.

Track maintenance work is prompting the delays between the Orinda and Pittsburg/Bay Point stations in both directions, operators said.

Trains are expected to be back on schedule by 3 p.m., according to BART.

Delays are a LOT longer than 20 minutes. My DH sat on a stopped train between Concord & Pleasant Hill @ 30 minutes, and he and a lot of other folks are now in Pleasant Hill waiting for another train. Hope no one had a plane to catch! Better safe than sorry though, I suppose.

Took 2 hours & 3 trains from Concord to MacArthur station. Probably the tree thing from yesterday.
