Rain is Falling in Claycord – Drive Safely

January 29, 2014 22:53 pm · 20 comments

It’s raining in Claycord!

Remember, we haven’t had rain for over a month-and-a-half, which means the roads very slick, so please be extra careful when driving.

Enjoy the rain while it lasts!

Let us take a moment and thank God it is raining in answer to a lot of prayers

Only a little splash here and there, no real rain yet.

Yay..light rain and some drizzle in PH

Really, you think it was the prayers? I don’t remember anyone praying the last few years and we had pretty good rainfall. Maybe y’all should stop praying.

Oh Lord! We thank thee heartily for the moisture you have expelled upon us. Let your magnificent skies open up and relieve themselves onto our parched lands and please withhold thy holy flatulence of lightning & thunder to spare us the chance of devastating wildfire which we’d just blame on target shooters anyhow. Amen.

Those fire hydrants better look out!

I would call this rain in Martinez right now! And looks like more to come for February! Lots of good signs of the jet stream lowering over us! Always a good sign…. I predict 10 inches of good rain in feb, and a miracle March!

Yes, something is missing from my life; superstition.

16 @Teacher Wannabe January 30, 2014 at 9:41 AM

Go ahead and pray. No one is stopping you. Just don’t expect me to me to join in your delusions.

So is the whole drought thingy officially over?

18 Antler January 30, 2014 at 10:44 AM

The plant leaves are perky, and the evidence of robin flock’s bombardment is GONE!

19 Lay off the meth January 30, 2014 at 1:44 PM

@18, the drought will be officially over when we get another 15 inches of rain… which means we need to get slammed by about 15 huge storms in a row.

20 Elwood January 30, 2014 at 2:18 PM

Wowsers, a whole .10 of an inch!

We’re saved!

The drought is over!
