UPDATE: Helicopter Landing in Concord to Transport Burn Victim to Hospital

A helicopter will be landing in Concord within the next few minutes to transport a burn victim to the hospital.

The victim is on Sanford St., which is in North Concord. It is unknown exactly where the helicopter will be landing, and it’s also unknown how the man burned himself.

UPDATE, 2:10pm: The victim will be transported by ambulance to Buchanan Field Airport in Concord. He will then be taken to the hospital in a helicopter. No helicopter will be landing on any city streets or in any park or open space.

AMR paramedics are going to transport code 3 to Buchanan field where the helicopter is based out of, then they will fly to burn center from there… Likley UC Davis

Any other information or updates on this story? This is our neighborhood…just happened to see the ambulance and firetruck delivering the victim to the medical helicopter this afternoon, praying the person is okay.

CoCo Times is reporting that she was dyeing wool and spilled a boiling liquid on herself.
