UPDATE: Nurse Saves Child’s Life at Highlands Elementary School in Concord

January 7, 2014 11:42 am · 5 comments

Connie Windmiller is the name of the Nurse at Highlands Elementary who saved a child’s life by performing CPR on Monday.

MDUSD Superintendent Dr. Nellie Meyer tells Claycord.com that “While she (Mrs. Windmiller) still maintains she was ‘doing her job’ and is not seeking out attention, she has agreed to share her name” with the media.

We’re hearing there have been a lot of requests for interviews from the media (tv, newspaper, etc.) after the story was published on Claycord.

Thank you, Connie Windmiller, for your heroic efforts to save the student after the student passed out on Monday morning.

Once again, Claycordians, learn CPR! You never know when you’ll need it.

For the nurses of MDUSD, going above and beyond is what they do every day. Connie, thank you..

Was wondering if this is why there are two news vans in front of the school right now 🙂
