A helicopter transported a 30-year-old Concord man after he suffered burns to his face during a small kitchen fire on Wildwood Dr. in Concord on Saturday night.

The helicopter landed at Loma Vista Adult Center on Cowell Rd., which was just in front of the man’s home, and flew him to U.C. Davis Medical Center.

It is unknown if the man’s injuries are life-threatening.

As a fellow burn survivor, my thoughts are with this man. Mr. Mayor, if you find out more about this, please share.
