Warrant Arrest – Concord Station
An officer saw a female suspect who he recognized as someone who had an outstanding arrest warrant. Record checks revealed that the female juvenile suspect had an outstanding no-bail warrant for removal from parental custody, held by the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Department. The female was taken into custody and booked at Juvenile Hall.
Auto Burglary/Attempt Auto Theft – North Concord/Martinez Station
A victim reported she parked her green 1998 Honda Civic in the upper reserve parking lot on 12/23/13, at1630 hours. The victim returned on 12/24/13, at 0058 hours to find the vehicle’s driver’s side door ajar, the ignition damaged, and $15 in cash missing from the center console. The investigating officer determined the vehicle’s driver’s door was most likely defeated by the use of a shaved key.
Arson – Concord Station
An officer was detailed to the station regarding six male juveniles setting trash cans on fire along the west bus zone area. On the officer’s arrival he was unable to locate the juveniles, nor the reporting party. Firefighters responded as well and extinguished the fires, which were contained within two trash cans. The officer requested station video.
Consensual Contact/Warrant/Resisting Arrest/Possession of Burglary Tools/Possession of Narcotics – Concord Station
An officer recognized an adult male from prior contacts who was a known drug user. The officer made a consensual contact with the male in the bus zone. Record checks showed that the man had an outstanding no-bail arrest warrant for burglary, held by Pleasant Hill PD. The man fled from the officer, but the officer was able to catch him after a foot chase into a nearby business park. The suspect complied when the officer deployed his Taser. The male was arrested for his warrant and for resisting arrest. A search incident to arrest revealed shaved auto keys and a small amount of suspected methamphetamine on the man’s person. The man was ultimately booked at the Martinez Detention Facility.
Vehicle Theft – North Concord Station
A victim reported that they parked their 1993 gold Honda Accord (with a 49’ers logo on the rear window) in the upper lot on 12/21/13, at 1610 hours. The victim returned today, at 0857 hours and found their vehicle gone.
Auto Burglary – Walnut Creek Station
A patron reported that their gray 1993 Acura Integra was burglarized between 1020-1705 hours. An unknown suspect gained entry by cheating the driver’s door lock. The suspect stole the registration, a garage door opener, a computer modem and other miscellaneous property.
