City of Concord’s “800″ Number Sends You to “America’s Hottest Talk Line”

If you need to dial the “800″ number for the City of Concord, you might want to take note that the directory number is incorrect.

Instead of sending you to the City of Concord’s front office, the “800″ number sends you to “America’s Hottest Talk Line”, where ladies can chat with “interesting & exciting guys”, and also where “hot ladies are waiting to talk” to men.

The correct phone number for the City of Concord is 925-671-3000. There is currently no other “800″ number listed.

It looks as though the “800″ number was once a correct number for the City of Concord, however, they seem to have dropped the number. The number is listed on dozens of documents and remains on their website as the Economic Development number for the City of Concord.

Remember, 925-671-3000.

Thanks to “Pleasant Jenny” for pointing out the incorrect number.

“Pleasant Jenny”?!?

The name sounds like she might work for that 800 number.

Where families come first?

Have relayed it to see if this is a current problem or an echo of some old publications.

Sounds like PG&E isn’t the only one with a data/records problem.

to JD #3: FYI, Pleasant Jenny isn’t anything like that and she is a long time regular here.

I’d rather talk to the “hot ladies”.

Damn I miss calling that number and talking to “Helen”!!!!

@Champagne Kitty you are too sweet :)

Must admit the Old Phart got a belly laugh over JD’s comment, though.

The worst part about blogs is no one can here your voice, so…in my best Betty Grable voice: “DJ. Yes, DJ. You….the number three……don’t you know who I am?” ;)

Just more proof, this government is worthless.

Who knew Claycord was full of so many “hot ladies”!

Sorry – posted this on the wrong thread earlier.
Anyhow –

And the link for the girl scouts on the Mt. Diablo Elementary website takes you to a “low sperm count” page. I’m sure it will be fixed tomorrow once some admin reads Claycord. But, it’s been that way for over a year – because that’s when I first noticed it.

So, I don’t actually have a date with the Building Department clerk? I knew it was too good to be true.

Pleasant Jenny (14), thanks for the chuckle

The page will be updated and corrected when the staff returns after the holidays.

@The Dude: that was hilarious. I think I know you in real life.
