That’s true, and they always have to have someone take care of them.

Please get your animals fixed so we don`t have this problem!! If you take on an animal, remember that it is a family member, like your child! You cannot just give it away, or surrender it because you got tired of taking care of it! They love you and they should get the same back!! If people were responsible, animals would`nt have to suffer!!!

That’s a great video. Always nice to see them running around and playing instead of just a picture. Hope they all find forever homes.

I was just going to post basically the same thing that ‘Ig #11′ posted:

“If you take on an animal, remember that it is a family member, like your child! You cannot just give it away, or surrender it because you got tired of taking care of it! They love you and they should get the same back!! If people were responsible, animals would`nt have to suffer!!!”

PLEASE do not buy animals as a gift for the holidays for someone as a surprise….. an animal is a commitment FOR LIFE! I have volunteered in shelters and see hundreds of animals being dropped off because someone ‘was too busy’ or ‘new baby’. Many times, these animals were so shaken up by the trauma of being in the shelter and abandoned by the families they loved, that they never recovered and many were put to sleep. Please think before you adopt!

GoGo and Mrs. plus granddaughters went to Dublin….they had a free day for adoption fees and came home with Sadie, part beagle, part corgi. She’s 8 yrs old but acts like a puppy. Has some issues of being left alone, But we are working on it. So now I have a new foot warmer at the end of my bed. The excuse was so our other dog would have a friend….he could care less…lol…

All the dogs we’ve ever had have been shelter or pound dogs. At the moment, we have a beautiful, docile male Doberman, a Chihuahua mix (he’s a little testy) and female terrier mix. We love them like members of the family.

Please consider adopting a dog from a shelter or pound today! These are all great dogs, the only thing they need is a family to love them and take care of them.

It’s easy, cheap, and best of all, you’ll get a friend for life!

Happy Holidays, and please adopt unwanted animals!

What a great idea, to make a video showcasing the dogs. I hope this leads to many adoptions by families that will love and care for these. Merry Christmas!

My own dog was pulled from this shelter. He was an owner surrender as a senior. He’s the sweetest, most loving little guy.

I hope they all find loving forever homes.

Does anyone know what happened to this dog?

He’s not on the adoption list of the shelter website…
