UPDATE: CHP Helicopter Circling Pine Hollow Area Looking for Stolen Vehicle

The CHP Helicopter is circling the Pine Hollow Rd. & Rolling Woods area of Concord looking for a stolen vehicle.

They were flying by and got a lo-jack hit, so they’ve requested assistance from Concord & Clayton Police to search the neighborhood for the vehicle.

If you’re in the area, there’s no need to worry.

UPDATE, 12:15pm: It was actually the CHP plane, not the helicopter. They located the vehicle, which was a 2009 Jeep.

I hope they find the vehicle.

Is there any more info about the vehicle that they’re looking for? Color, Make, Model?

With Pine Hollow Middle School having an early release today at 12:53p, there’s about to be many extra cars in the area to make it interesting.

Where did they find the vehicle? I live over there but am not currently home.

My first thought was “Somebody LoJacked a Jeep?”
But then again, it WAS stolen and now it’s recovered.
Go figure.
I hope the thieves rot in jail.

Do believe if you see a police car with 4 antennas equally spaced, all the same height, it has a LoJack receiver.
Heck some construction companies LoJack things like portable compressors.
There are LoJack videos on YouTube explaining how it works.

Believe their radios would be comparable with both old and digital.
Probably using one or more radios made by Wulfsberg Electronics.

They also found a stolen green Toyota 4 door sedan, older model, on Grasswood around noon. It had been parked there for at least 4 or 5 days.
