Over the years we’ve received several reports of people going around selling candy in neighborhoods throughout Claycord.
Here’s one from a Claycordian who not only saw the candy sellers, but also suspects one vandalized her property in North Concord.
A young African-American male, about 12-14-years-old wearing a blue t-shirt and matching duffel bag selling candy for “TLC” was in my drive way when I got home on Friday. I was gone all of 20 minutes and this kid tore down and broke several Halloween decorations, half a string of lights and broke one of my living room windows. I caught him red-handed! I admonished him and he ran up the hill and a few minutes later a white carpool van picked him up.
I called the Concord Police.
Any other problems around town with this group? I’ve seen them before at Chevron on Willow Pass soliciting cars pumping gas.
Sorry to hear that happened to you.
