BART police are responding to a report of two people struck by a BART train between the Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill stations, a BART police lieutenant said.
A report of two pedestrians hit by a train on the BART trackway between Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill came in a short time before 2 p.m., BART police Lt. Paul Kwon said.
No further information was immediately available.

UPDATE, 2:22pm: The following statement is from BART:
“BART is investigating a report that a train struck two employees working along a section of track between Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill stations. We are working to gather more information and will update the public later this afternoon.”
UPDATE, 2:32pm: ConFire is asking for “two yellow blankets”. We’re hearing two people have possibly died after being hit by a BART maintenance train.
