This tip came from a Claycordian who lives on Olive Drive in Concord, which runs between Ayers Road & Kirker Pass.
Hi Claycord! I came home last night to find my home was nearly broken into. I had pry-bar marks on my back door, and could tell somebody tried to break-in. I went to my neighbor’s house to see if they had seen anybody at my house, and she said “no, just your gardeners”. Well, my gardeners don’t come on Tuesday, they already came the previous Thursday. I called my gardeners to ask if they had been there and he said “No, we came on Thursday”
My neighbor said the guys who were at my house didn’t look like my usual gardeners, but she did say they started the lawn mower in the backyard and everything so she figured they were just filling-in. Now I am thinking they did that to try and make it look like everything was normal and they were just there to work.
I know these weren’t my regular gardeners, and I doubt these guys are even real hard-working gardeners, just a bunch of crooks looking to steal what doesn’t belong to them. Jerks.
It’s best to keep your side gate locked, especially on days when your gardener isn’t expected to be working.
Fortunately these guys weren’t able to break into your house, but beware Claycordians, because we’re sure they’re out there somewhere searching for their next victim.
