Another 20 Bay Area volunteers are traveling to Colorado to assist thousands of residents affected by recent floods, the American Red Cross Bay Area said.
The group includes residents of Contra Costa County, among other communities.
They are joining 42 volunteers from the Bay Area, Silicon Valley, Monterey Bay and Santa Cruz areas already working in Colorado.

The Red Cross has served more than 13,000 meals and snacks so far and provided more than 2,640 health and mental services, officials said.
