Some people just can’t control the urge to take something that doesn’t belong to them, which is sad, because sometimes even though it might not seem like it, an item might be very special to the person who owns it.
The following message is from a sad Claycordian….
Someone stole my 19” resin “Happy Everything” Mickey Mouse statue (pictured above) from my front porch in Concord last week. It’s very special to me and is irreplaceable and I’ve been losing sleep over it.
This is the most recent picture of him, from Halloween last year. Instead of him holding a pumpkin, he’s holding a white rabbit sitting with pink and blue flowers inside a brown basket.
He’s identifiable as being mine because when I went to clean him I accidentally tipped him over and broke his left arm off and had to glue it back on, but you can still see the glue. If anyone sees him in front of a neighbors house, it’s stolen property and I’d like him back.
I’ve lived in Concord for 15 years and I’ve never had anything stolen from my house and it’s very upsetting.
Sorry to hear about Mickey. Obviously the statue is special to you, so hopefully somebody will have a heart and return it A.S.A.P.
