Let’s be honest, they’re good at what they do. But a million dollar act?

These girls are over the top…but not a million dollar act. Much respect that they made it this far.

I can’t get a Martin Short SNL skit out of my head now.

Congratulations Aquanauts, great refreshing story.

Getting sick of hearing Obama claiming he could have been Trayvon Martin.

Aren’t they the Walnut Creek AquaNAUTS, (as in astronauts) not AquaNUTS?

10 AQUANUTS! July 21, 2013 at 7:48 PM

How come so many claycordians have never heard of the Olympic winning Aquanuts team before now??? They are based in Walnut Creek and practice and perform at both the Larkey and Heather Farm pools!!!!

Go Aquanuts!

And no they are not “nauts” as in astronauts. Simple internet sewrch could have clarified that for anyone. Oy vey.

Good luck to the team.

@ #3 and #6 – so don’t vote for them if you don’t think they’re worth it but a dog act won last year for heaven’s sake, so it’s not like there’s a high bar of fine-art to be reached. It’s meant to be fun and it wouldn’t cost you a thing to give them a vote.

You ladies are awesome .

I understand the home spirit but what a ridiculous show. Must lower your iq watching it.

walNUT creek, get it? So they are going to put a pool on stage at Radio City? Otherwise they’ll be like fish out of water, not really fair. Anyway, this is a great organization, been at it since 1968 and a real local treasure.

schmee…..live a little, watch some trash tv, you’ll still have your brain, I. promise :-)

I don’t watch this show a lot but I’ll be watching and voting on Tuesday, good luck nuts!

@Schmee – maybe it would help if you thought of the show as being in the same spirit as the old variety shows like Ed Sullivan with a bit of vaudeville thrown in. The competition format is a new twist but otherwise it’s simply a plain old fashioned variety show…simple fun in a complicated time.

Maybe schmee has none to spare.
