Ewww that’s hella not cute

2 Dan April 2, 2013 at 6:32 AM

It doesn’t matter if it’s “not hella” cute. It’s still someone’s pride and joy. Show some respect troll.

3 99% April 2, 2013 at 6:41 AM

Pride and Joy? More like a step child. Who ties their boat on a concrete shoreline?

4 Ddt April 2, 2013 at 6:59 AM

Ahh cool a classic fast hydrodyne ill keep my eyes out. People dont know quality wnen they see it.

5 Connie Dobbs April 2, 2013 at 7:00 AM

People still say ‘hella’?
Was the boat stolen off the street? It could have been a neighbor ‘disappeared’ it to free up the parking space.

6 Mark April 2, 2013 at 7:16 AM

Take the insurance money.

7 Lori April 2, 2013 at 7:33 AM

Walnut All Day and 99% wow, really? The guys boat was stolen and you want to attack him? What about the piece of crap thief? I suppose your possessions being stolen matter more than this poor guys right? Hope you get your boat back in one piece and they catch the people responsible. Don’t understand why people want to trash talk victims.

8 dthegnome April 2, 2013 at 7:45 AM

you never know.. dude could have built that thing himself. looks like it would hit some high speeds. thats too bad.

9 Truth April 2, 2013 at 7:49 AM

What are the license plate of the trailer

10 dk April 2, 2013 at 7:51 AM

My late dads stolen guitar was worth 20 times what this boat is worth not to mention the sentimental value and the mayor refused to run the story. But he will run this one.

11 Mimi (original) April 2, 2013 at 8:06 AM

That’s a pretty toy!

12 REASON April 2, 2013 at 8:11 AM

The sad part is someone worked hard to get a boat and some ass who probably never worked for anything stole it!

13 Kathleen April 2, 2013 at 8:20 AM

dk.. wow, I am surprised to hear that. Ask again.. He is opening up to more stories now.

14 Old Man of the Ski April 2, 2013 at 8:20 AM

@99%-concrete shoreline
That’s a launch ramp, you moron.

15 dave April 2, 2013 at 8:21 AM

Who care’s what it looks like….It’s someone’s property and it was stolen..if you can’t say anything nice, shut up…..and that doesn’t look like concrete to me…

16 anon April 2, 2013 at 8:32 AM

Guess the neighbor got tired of it parked in the street.

17 jtkatec April 2, 2013 at 8:34 AM

That’s horrible. Low-life-loser-scum-piece of poop-no good mongrel dog.

And I have insulted the canine species.

18 Killjoy April 2, 2013 at 9:14 AM

Okay boys and girls, as a boat owner myself, that’s not concrete and it’s not a launch ramp. It’s a dirt shoreline where folks have pounded stakes into the dirt, to tie off their boats when they are not being used. Look a little closer.

I will keep my eyes open for that boat. I hope it was insured.
Good luck in getting it back, undamaged.

19 DrDuran April 2, 2013 at 9:16 AM

Check with the sheriffs office & towing companies, it might be impounded.

20 The Dude April 2, 2013 at 9:20 AM

Pretty sure that’s not concrete, as people have pounded land anchors into it and the barge next to its pontoons have settled into the shore.

21 Just a Concordian April 2, 2013 at 9:28 AM

So, the guy takes pictures of the boat, shadily mind you… who’ll take low quality pictures of a boat on a shoreline or on a trailer? Someone who wants to sell it, that’s who. He posts it, doesn’t sell. He keeps it for a while then comes up with the idea.

Sinks it, persuades the mayor to post the story, calls the police, then collects insurance. Meanwhile, trailer is also up for sale, probably not yet, but soon, when police calls off the search or when he collects insurance.

Far fetched? You decide. But if you believe in the invisible man in the sky, then this story should be very easy to swallow.

Or I could be talking out of my ass cause I’m bored.

22 ratz April 2, 2013 at 9:28 AM

too many ratz around these days. so many morons stealing things. really makes me sick.

23 toyboattoyboattoyboat April 2, 2013 at 10:04 AM

…and the theme for Grad Night is “I am on a Boat”. Ha!

24 Mimi (original) April 2, 2013 at 10:17 AM

@Just a Concordian – How evil of you!!

25 Antler April 2, 2013 at 11:14 AM

Well, I read that very first comment as meaning STEALING THE BOAT was “hella not cute”.

26 Pffffft!!!! April 2, 2013 at 11:34 AM

Some of you people on here are so rude and mean!
His boat has no meaning to you but it does to him!
Have some compassion! If something that you loved was
stolen, you would want people to care.

27 Just a Concordian April 2, 2013 at 11:35 AM

@Mimi

Yea I have my moments of evil genius :)

28 Ren Jen Jen April 2, 2013 at 12:19 PM

OMG! I can’t believe TADA has been stolen! So many awesome memories in that beautiful boat. Sorry BFT. I love you, man. :((

29 Ren Jen Jen April 2, 2013 at 12:30 PM

@Just a Concordian – You are 100% wrong. I know the owner. This guy LOVES this boat and would NEVER do something shady like that. By the way, the boat was stolen the day after his birthday. So f*@#ed up. I hope whoever stole this boat gets caught. Being stolen from is such a horrible feeling of violation. I am livid! To all of the people who are attacking the owner of this boat (and the ’68 Tahiti itself)….have you ever been stolen from? Must’ve not been because if you had, then you would have some sympathy. You must’ve been/are the thief type.

30 musty April 2, 2013 at 12:31 PM

Sorry to hear this, BUT, was it stored like that on the street? Sorry, but leaving your boats on the street is not only an eyesore and if I’m not mistaken against Concord’s city ordinance codes. Perhaps towed by an annoyed neighbor sick and tired of recreation vehicles clogging their street???

31 Ren Jen Jen April 2, 2013 at 12:39 PM

@Musty – It was not stored like that on the street. That is just a picture of the boat either before or after taking it on the water. Can’t you see it hooked up to a vehicle?

32 99% April 2, 2013 at 2:40 PM

@ dave, My mommy told me that “shut up” was not a nice thing to say!
I prefer “blow me” that will naturally shut you up.

33 erin April 2, 2013 at 2:53 PM

I love how I posted something talking abt the disgustingness of claycord and al you losers who have nothing g better to do than talk s**t to people you know nothing about…but it didn’t get posted. But there’s problem with allowing miserable people to bash everyone. Sad. This site is a joke. Its meant to serve a good purpose and people act like they are in high school. This is my friends boat and it means everything to him. I have had great memories with this boat. Being stolen from is not ok, regardless of what it is. This guy def dis not deserve it, or the bad mouthing!

34 erin April 2, 2013 at 2:54 PM

Ps..a comment saying “blow me” was approved, but not my comment about this site! Wow

35 Just a Concordian April 2, 2013 at 3:09 PM

@erin

You mean we are not allowed to discuss this event from our freedom of thought and speech inspired points of view?

36 Cowellian April 2, 2013 at 3:28 PM

Hi Erin, Welcome to Claycord.

We talk about things here, that’s what this site is for. If we waited for all the facts to be known, we’d never have any kind of conversation, so speculation is an integral part of the discussion. If you’d like to be part of the conversation, you can start by not trash-talking and name-calling people that are already here. Otherwise, you’re not likely to have an enjoyable experience here.

37 GG April 2, 2013 at 3:43 PM

The boat was STOLEN. I don’t care if you think it’s the ugliest boat in the world, the best boat in the world, or if you hate boats. The boat was STOLEN. A CRIME was committed. If you have no feelings about a crime being committed, then we have an answer on why there is a permeating low-life aura about our society.

38 erin April 2, 2013 at 10:04 PM

I never bashed anyone. And getting out facts is one thing. Talking sh*t and speculating is completey uncalled for and serves no purpose

39 TONY ARROYO April 2, 2013 at 11:07 PM

this was my boat her name is” TADA” because when my friends and I went out on her everything was alright weather we had a bad day at work or weather we just needed to get away . she wasnt the prettiest or the fastest nor was she insured for theft! she left us stranded more than once, but less than most of us have not fulfilled our obligations ! I dont care about what shes worth to the world . I care about what she means to those of us who loved her. she was off the pavement when parked and hooked up to my truck witch had its battery stolen also I ask no questions other than please give her back! also to the gentleman who lost his fathers guitar I hope you get her back also.

40 Cowellian April 3, 2013 at 8:05 AM

I hope you get your boat back, Tony.

41 erin April 3, 2013 at 8:37 AM

xoxo Tony. We’ll find TADA! And she WILL run for us! More memories to come :)

42 Sara April 3, 2013 at 9:13 AM

43 99% April 3, 2013 at 9:38 AM

44 Sara April 3, 2013 at 9:59 AM

45 SaraR April 3, 2013 at 10:42 AM
