Oh my gosh! It reminds me of September 11!

I pray the fire fighters who had to witness this are able to move on… thank you Confire heroes!

Thank you for the report. I was wondering why there were so many sirens & firetrucks going past my office.

Reminds me of the houe fire back in 2010 on laguna st, where my uncle passed away. His roomate jumped out a window and made it, while my uncle stayed inside. :(

Good for him, the first thing you do in a house fire is GET OUT of the house!

Defenestration is never good.

Good to hear positive News today. That’s Gutsy. I’m happy he will be alright, that building is three floors. Seems like we don’t hear as much these days about having an escape drop Ladder in our Upstairs Kids Rooms. Just a thought, even though he was not a Youngster.

There was a firetruck parked in the parking lot of the complex on the SE corner of Clayton Rd. and Ellis St (next to Ellis Lake). The truck could be seen over the fence from Clayton Rd. They seemed to be accessing the apt. from inside the lot. I watched as the firetruck was leaving, and could not see any blackened paint on the apartments…it was not obvious to me which apt. was involved.

Good news all around.

Delighted to hear that the man who decided to jump is ok. I was in a tent fire, the tent had only one exit and I was on the wrong side of the tent. So I know how scary that can be.

@ Concord Guy
Defenestration is the act of throwing
someone out a window, otherwise
it’s called jumping or falling.

That’s what I like about gravity. It doesn’t care if your rich or poor, left or right, tall or short or a grown man at home in the middle of a workday, it despises us all.
