How many arrests and convictions before they learn for our Lord’s sake??????????????????

6 Gov. Brown February 16, 2013 at 10:00 PM

Don’t worry, everybody. I’ll have those poor misunderstood souls back on the streets by tomorrow.

7 Let me guess February 16, 2013 at 10:07 PM

Only GHETTO trash will steal from Old Navy as there is truly NOTHING worth to steal there. I wouldn’t be caught dead shopping at Old Navy with their terrible clothing and terrible inflated prices

If the corrts & DA only enforced laws on the books & kept scum like this in jail…….

13 dinkydau February 17, 2013 at 7:51 AM

If the gun used was black and conceable and collaspable, maybe it was one of those military type assualt weapons? How come nobody gets riled up when a shooting occurs in Oakland? One happened yesterday again and its not on the national news. How come nobody from Oakland was invited and not in the gallery when Obama was speaking?

The DA and courts are trying, they have been victims of budget cuts. Also, the laws are designed to do “half time”. since no one was hurt, they MAY do only a couple of months in county jail (MAYBE). California does not have any accountability, it is becoming a sanctuary for criminals (AB109).

Are you sure it wasn’t an AR-15?

16 Glen February 17, 2013 at 8:54 AM

The corrts send them to jail, the quartz should make sure they stay they’re.

It’s the quarts fault.

@ANON –
I hoped they were wearing hoodies that said “Old Navy” on them. Great advertising.

18 12ga February 17, 2013 at 9:42 AM

they’re not very good at being bad people lol

19 Paul February 17, 2013 at 9:44 AM

I hope they are from Bay Point. Our little neighborhood always gets a bad rap. The quicker you guys put the trash away, the better it is for those of us who actually enjoy a peaceful life. It’s a shame that the police don’t snatch them up before they go to your neighborhood and cause trouble. They know who they are and where they live. You guys should be upset that the police don’t value your safety over the rights of these little punks.

But they were just starting to turn their lives around. How many times have we heard that. Book em and bring back the chain gang. Have them clean up our streets and roadways. Dress them in orange jump suits, disrespect the hell out of them. Oh, wait, that wouldn’t be politically correct, would it.Let the court system do their thing, slap them on the wrist, give them a lollipop and tell them not to do it again. Do they gat a ride back to where they came from?

#4 & #11 So where do you fashion experts shoplift when you’ve stained your favorite frock with Grey Poupon and need a new one?

22 Anon February 17, 2013 at 10:27 AM

@NRA #1 fan and member

and cash? LOL

23 Anon February 17, 2013 at 10:31 AM

@anon #12

Talk to the ACLU lawyers who claim that prisons are cruel and unconstitutional places. Talk to the lawyers who say over crowding is a problem. That would be a good start to getting those who commit crimes to actually do the time. Then bring back three strikes and the death penalty. As of now hardened criminals don’t have anything to fear except early release.

24 Brian Griffin February 17, 2013 at 10:45 AM

They’ll be released before their names are..

25 jtkatec February 17, 2013 at 11:22 AM

Glen, I don’t see how a quart of anything is at fault here.

26 justice February 17, 2013 at 11:49 AM

27 Anon February 17, 2013 at 11:50 AM

It’s all about crystal powers man. The quartz is going bad man.

28 Glen February 17, 2013 at 12:53 PM

jtkatec,

A court of prevention is worth a pound of liqueur…

29 Anon February 17, 2013 at 1:03 PM

#4 & #11 lol, if you shop and Gap or Banana Republic, you’re pretty much buying the same things.

30 Horse'n Around February 17, 2013 at 1:10 PM

I heard they are from Berkeley.

31 Craig Cannon February 17, 2013 at 3:16 PM

If they needed money, they should have sold that .40 Not much stock at the Gun Stores these days.I guess he wasn’t totally stupid. With a Gun he could’ve just robbed the joint. Either way he’s going down for it. What’s with all the theft and that particular Old Navy? Our thieves have no class. Oh yes, K Mart closed!

Brown has done what he can
with the mess he was left.
Enjoying the “low taxes” every one,
A dollar don’t go very far. Who do
you think is going to pay the price
for these things, Chase, Chevron?
It’s us,so be glad those two didn’t
shoot someone !

33 Jazzguy February 17, 2013 at 3:49 PM

This is the type of scum that doesn’t respect any laws and makes any attempt of gun control against law-abiding citizens a joke.Once you realize this, then you see why the first “assault weapon” ban did absolutely nothing to the crime rates.
I wonder how many of these daily burglaries and robberies were done by “non-violent” prisoners set free.
Mr. Mayor: is there any way to get stats on non-violent offenders and repeat offenses once set free? Possibly Gov Brown doesn’t want us to know.

34 Math is Correct February 17, 2013 at 11:48 PM

Old Navy is three right turns from the freeway on ramp.

@Jazzguy perhaps a phone call to state senator DeSaulnier could shed some light on that.

35 WTF February 18, 2013 at 9:16 AM

The prison system has turned into a glorified “time out” where criminals get sent to their room for TV watching and hanging out with their friends – other crooks.
