Special “State of the City” Presentation by Walnut Creek Mayor Cindy Silva

DESCRIPTION: Learn what’s in store for Walnut Creek in 2013 and beyond at a special “State of the City” presentation at the Lesher Center for the Arts. Bring your questions, as there will be plenty of time for Q&A!

Doors open at 8:30am, and there will be coffee, tea and breakfast pastries prior to the presentation. The presentation will begin at 9am. Paid parking is available at the City-owned garage next to the Lesher Center for the Arts (50 cents per hour). The Lesher Center for the Arts is at 1601 Civic Drive.

What’s with all the high density apartment building? Looks like WC got suckered into ABAGs “sustainable development” (i.e. more Section 8). Stupid ass voters deserve the council members they elected who support this crap.
