Happy New Year to All!!! I’m going to random acts of kindness and see if I can get my family to join in on the fun of giving! It’s fun to be anonymous!

Happy Near Year! Resolutions? “Me” time is #1 on the list: Back into reading (and FYI ChampagneKitty, I DID buy Les Miserables — it’s on order, hardback, about 980 pages …I finish the Lisa Dale book today); I’m going to lessen snacking and increase walking; I’ll be looking for some healthy recipes (especially soups and stews); more gardening; and upping my rainy day savings. Nothing significant, but very doable.

I’ve resolved to spend time drawing closer to God, listening to Him instead of taking charge of things myself, and being aware of His awesome presence at all times! If I can do that, my life will be so much better and more peaceful this year!!!!!!!

Build a few more Khalifornia-legal, 10-round assault rifles with quick change magazines.

Made the resolution to get more fit and to eat healthy. Husband wakes up and starts talking about how we’re having orange cinnamon rolls for breakfast while we watch the Rose Parade. Sigh…

Happy New Year!

Is there a 12 Step Program for cutting down on playing Bejeweled Blitz on Facebook? That would be my biggest time waster at this point.

Sunstar January 1, 2013 at 10:03 AM

Happy New Year-my resolution is to be me; and to wish my family and friends fulfillment of their resolutions.

Happy new year! I hope that I can try to find the goodness around me. Driving will probably be my biggest challenge!

Concord1963 January 1, 2013 at 11:37 AM

Happy New Year everyone! I resolve to take better care of me and get more organized.

Kirk January 1, 2013 at 11:54 AM

Yeah Jeff this year if we face another Great Depression, a real one where food is scarce not just jobs, I will definently be heading to the family land out of state.

Not to be a downer but why not make a resolution this year to store up some food and supplies to take care of your family and pets 90 days min. Even if we hold financially disasters can strike anywhere anytime. That’s directed at everyone else, I suspect Jeff already has.

Hope for the best prepare for the worst. And remember that at the end of the day we are all still Americans. The polarization of our country needs to stop.

I am renewing my yearly resolution not to listen to Led Zeppelin 4.

Mr. Anon E. Mouse January 1, 2013 at 12:01 PM

Merry New Years, Claycordians!
Resolutions: Quit smoking, lose 20 pounds.
And finally the first time in a week, I haven’t woken up with my sinuses filled with mucus! I had a sever ear infection last weekend and went to the doctor on xmas eve.
12 hours and counting since my last cigarette! My morning mocha will be a challenge. 🙂 But at least that $45 bucks a month I spend on smokes can go towards the elliptical machine I bought last month. I assembled it between sinus infections but have yet to use it. TILL today, since I can breath, I’m going to go stretch and hop on for 30 minutes! Wish me luck!

May you all have a prosperous and fulfilling 2013!

Atticus Thraxx January 1, 2013 at 12:19 PM

Happy New Year everyone. Great resolutions, hope you all enjoy success. Everyone except Connie. Led Zeppelin IV should be held in reverence and if anything you should resolve to listen more. 🙂

Dragon January 1, 2013 at 12:41 PM

Happy New Year, everyone!!

violetcharm January 1, 2013 at 12:48 PM

I resolve:
** to be POSITIVE in my thoughts, words and actions
** to think of OTHERS first, not just me,me,me
** to do AT LEAST one thing a day to make someone else’s life better

I wish Claycord posters would reslove to be positive and uplifting this new year…it would make such an incredible difference in our society.

anon January 1, 2013 at 12:51 PM

Pegasus January 1, 2013 at 1:44 PM

Only ONE?

Connie Dobbs January 1, 2013 at 2:46 PM

You mean me, Pegs? Yes, just one.
Still can’t do the movies alone yet, but nothing would keep me from seeing Shawn Mullins live.

Pegasus January 1, 2013 at 4:45 PM

Connie –
If I didn’t have plans to be at my mt. retreat I’d ask to tag along. Mullins cool and different.

Atticus Thraxx January 1, 2013 at 4:50 PM

My resolution is to convert all my .jpegs to Islam. Hah! That made me laugh

Cowellian January 1, 2013 at 5:01 PM

I used up all my resolutions when I quit smoking in 1975.

Tina January 1, 2013 at 5:04 PM

Please spare us, Mr. Anon E Mouse – we don’t need to hear about your mucus – yuk. Have a lil’ class.

Connie Dobbs January 1, 2013 at 8:03 PM

I plan to, thanks, Pegs.
You have a mountain retreat?

Pegasus January 1, 2013 at 9:31 PM

It’s where I go to escape the claycord madness and work on my book. Finding myself there more & more lately.

Connie Dobbs January 2, 2013 at 8:29 AM

Cool, Pegs.
I’m on FB under the name Mabel Normand, if you wanted to tell me about your book.
