Rooster Complaint – unable to locate address. Call was anonymous so no contact information.
City of Pleasant Hill(specifically the Park and Rec) what is the deal with the sham you call a teen center. No where in the bond did it ever say this was going to be a per-teen center and a day care for Sequoia Middle School. So our bond money is going to a center teens really aren’t allowed to use except for a few hours a week and that is offered only after you receive complaints. Not to mention that the vast majority of kids from Sequoia that are in need of a place to hang out is because they are not Pleasant Hill residents and are waiting for their parents to get off from work.
Dear Unhappy PH parent, you do realize that the City of Pleasant Hill is completely seperate from Pleasant Hill Park and Rec, right?
@ Unhappy PH parent – I asked a few questions at an open house for the Teen Center and they let me know that it is open to all teens, not just PH…however, each teen (middle & high) get 8 hours a month free, then there is a payment plan. Still lots of kinks to work out. I still have high hopes and I think it is an asset to the commuinty.
Anon-ninny is correct. The City of Pleasant Hill and Pleasant Hill Park and Recreation District are not synonymous. They are two separate and different government agencies. The City is not responsible for the bond measure nor how the money is spent by the District.
