Is it East Bay Regional Parks?
This is headed by a group of local rock climbers Jeff Neely and Kendall De Jong, who love this area and hate to see garbage and graffiti all over the place. Jeff is known by climbers as the “Mayor of Pine Canyon” and has been instrumental in replacing unsafe bolts and anchors, making it a safe place to climb. For more info you can check out the Pine Canyon facebook page http://www.facebook.com/pages/Pine-Canyon/137798826307189
Thank you for posting this. We’re hoping for a great turnout!
Thanks for responding to who’s heading it up! I was unable to make it – doing trail maintenance elsewhere, but very appreciative that someone had the initiative to organize it. I may join you another time.
