Carbecue!

That’s a “donk” burning… a vehicle style that is popular with African Americans and Hispanics. And no, I am not Caucasian.

‘Still don’t understand the aesthetic, performance, or styling goal of putting 22 or 24-inch wheels and tires under a sedan.

Horrible way to start the day! Glad no one was injured.

@Highway Star

Does it really matter what kind of car it was?

My co-worker heard the driver of the car talking on the phone saying “But I did put oil in it”. Ummm thinking not! They were fine though.

Looks to be North bound freeway off ramp. Increasing wheel diameter from stock, fail to see the logic unless it’s, “Look at ME”, “Look at ME”, “Look at ME”, “Look at ME Burn”. Should have taken money spent on wheels an used it for vehicle maintenance, they’d still have a car.

Hmmmm, does anyone know if an auto policy cover fire expenses usually?

oh yea its one of those buy here pay here lot cars with 374k on the odometer looks like 87 chevy monte carlo you know the POS welfare buys cuz thaey aint got no W2 income and the dummy puts 3k in wheels and tires on a car worth 300 bucks and thinks he is a drug kingpin pimpin in my ride yo

12 SprayTHENaim October 12, 2012 at 12:37 PM

@highway star – yea a donk is a 80s or 90s car with big rims, but more commonly “donk” means a big booty. Here in the bay we would call this a scraper. Im pretty sure “donk” referring to a car is a southern term.

Cars look cool with a little lift and 22s, but they get horrible gas mileage and don’t ride good unless they have air bags (switches inside the car inflate bags that lift the car up and down). But don’t make the Clayton white folk think that a “donk” always means a car on rims, cuz it means a butt.

He might have put oil in it, it probably was leaking oil badly aka ‘spillin beans’ and he was Probly talking on the phone because it’s hard to not realize your cars over heating until the point it starts a fire.

Obviously its a stolen car since its hot : )

Help a city out!
Roll that POS another 50 ft. so it can melt and fill in that Dip at the end of Clayton rd.
Scraper please!

“Cars look cool with a little lift and 22s”

To the ghetto trash demographic, I suppose.

Silver slug bug!

@4… I’m providing users info on that’s car’s styling.

@12.. thanks for the clarification. Yow, didn’t know “donk” also applied to big azzes… I thought that was “badonkadonk”. Shortened now? Or does that mean to perform some physical act on a donk?

22s and lifted looks stupid whereas tightly tucked 22s (and bags) is cool… like Fuller’s “Impaler”.

Someone lost their car, which is a horrible experience to go through. And you guys are sitting here joking about it? Who cares what kind of car the person had! I could care less what kind of car they were driving; I am just thankful this person wasn’t injured or worse.

21 Cowellian October 12, 2012 at 5:55 PM

Anonymous@20 must be new here.
Making inappropriate jokes is second only to jumping to conclusions as favorite pastimes on Claycord.

Aw Cowellian, don’t be hard on Anonymous, we all know he will be walking for miles and miles and miles–yes,he will be walking for miles and miles and miles and miles.

Those Donks looks so stupid,,, I wish Concord PD would cite them! The headlights are way to high to be legal! These guys driving these think they are above everyone else! I laugh,, I’ve never seen something so stupid looking! A $500 old 89 Chevy Corsica with 22’s,, Ghetto! It fits in well in Oakland,,, maybe International Blvd! Where do they get the money for these wheels & tires? Are they realtors,, or Dentists?

24 Koncord Kid October 12, 2012 at 7:20 PM

Screwy Louie,,, That’s a great idea! I saw that thing burning today! I hope the Donk had full coverage on that POS,,,,,,,,,,,,, That Carbecue was a sight to see!

Work close by this, could smell it, and it was an electrical fire, not oil or fuel….. and most of these car “modifications” that include huge wheels, also have “monster cable” power feeds that run their annoying “boom-boom” amplifiers, can bet that an un-fused cable from battery to amp in trunk got too close to something sharp or hot….. seen too many of these lousy installs

26 Koncord Kid October 12, 2012 at 10:20 PM

Maybe the “Monster Cable’ shorted out due to the incompedent install of the stereo system! Its so neat to pull up the one of these Donks, and see the trunk, and 1/4 panels moving to the Beat of the stuff they call music! They listen to it so loud,, its no wonder they can still hear! At least they have High Paying jobs to afford the fancy wheels, and the stereos! Keep working and stimulating the economy!

Oh no! My father is chief of our tribe & totally misread that as a smoke signal from the Lytton tribe. He took a war party of 50 braves to paintball masacre everyone at the California Grand Casino!
