Citizen Helps Catch Two Suspected Burglars in the City of Pleasant Hill

September 4, 2012 7:38 am · 20 comments

A Bay Point man and a Pittsburg man were both arrested on Monday for first degree residential burglary, according to the Pleasant Hill Police.

Although Police didn’t provide a location of the burglary, we’re hearing it was near Camelback Road.

Police say it was determined the suspects entered the residence through an unlocked window. A witness saw the suspects leave the residence and called the police. They were located by Pleasant Hill PD officers a few blocks away, and the witness identified the suspects.

Evidence was also recovered from one of the suspects that was connected to the victim’s residence, police said.

Both subjects were arrested for residential burglary and later booked into the Contra Costa County Jail.

The suspects have been identified as 21-year-old Bay Point resident Marquis Aaron and 21-year-old Pittsburg resident Donovan Shorter.

Claycord is for snitches! Time to take the word back:-)

I think word needs to get out in the hood that we call the cops out here and don’t expect to get away with the crap you do in Baypoint or Oakland in our neighborhoods.

If a couple of these pieces of crap break into the wrong house and get shot to death, word will get out fast and the number of burglaries will drop dramatically. Maybe the newspapers should run a few fake stories to that effect, just to see what happens.

Kudos once again to the pro-active neighbors. As a PH resident, this means a lot.

As for future potential crooks – welcome to Snitch City. We. Will. Get. You.

Gee let me guess….. Two educated white guys from Danville??? I think not. These people need to stop trying to infiltrate our cute city of pleasant hill. Go back to Oakland or Bay Point. This hits too close to home.

“I think word needs to get out in the hood that we call the cops out here and don’t expect to get away with the crap you do in Baypoint or Oakland in our neighborhoods.”

That’s funny… I always put Martinez below Baypoint. But then again, I don’t see a difference between Concord, Antioch, and Pittsburg… they’re all ghettos to me.

11 Crime Rate UP September 4, 2012 at 9:55 AM

Criminals know when they do a crime Thanks to AB109 they will do LESS TIME. After being sentenced they are guaranteed to do half their sentence and they may get to do their time at home playing X-box thanks to AB109.
Even if they were on parole from state prison they can not be sent back to prison under AB109.
For more details call our CA state Senator DeSaulnier he voted in favor of it.
