Wonderful news! But that is such a long, long way for him to have walked on his own. Maybe the police will let us know what he says happened?

I’m relieved this man was found and safely reunited with his family. Since he is unable to recall important identifying information about himself, his family should consider having him wear a Medic Alert-style bracelet, necklace, or even anklet. Wherever it is most comfortable for him to wear it. If he becomes lost again, whoever finds him can call the number on the reverse side of his Medic Alert emblem for complete identification and contact info. Any medical issues could also be recorded, in case he is not able to advocate for himself.

Wow so glad to hear he is safe at home. Thanks to all.

11 He was obviously driven to Pittsburg February 26, 2012 at 6:38 AM

by someone who wanted to help him, or by someone who wanted to rob and kill him.

Maybe now’s the time to consider a gps implant.

Christina at #9 ~ ~ ~ Yes, those are excellent suggestions! I have also heard of micro-chipping such info and also implanting GPS devices in “at risk” persons. It is an enormously heartbreaking panic situation for a family member or other designated caregiver if even their best security precautions fail and their charge slips away from them.

God didn’t find him, the Pittsburg PD did, try thanking them instead in my opinion.
