Be on the lookout for a mustang similar to the one pictured above.
An anonymous Claycordian tells us why you should keep your eyes open for a black mustang with a license plate that starts with “6S”….
I live off of Clayton Way in Concord. We have lived here for almost 20 years. We have had things stolen out of our garage and our cars in the last few months. We have seen a Black mustang on our street a few times and actually almost caught them last Wednesday.
At 9:35pm my husband noticed lights on our street at the end of the street. So he looked outside. When he was between our cars he saw a head moving in the bushes. So he ducked behind the big garbage can. This women with no shoes on and dirty feet was looking in my car, my husband said what said “What are you doing” and she was caught off guard. She jumped and starting backing out of the driveway stepping backward. She said she was looking for her dog. This is the same car that was seen on our street around 6:15 pm on Super bowl Sunday when we had things stolen out of our car and garage. This women ran to the black mustang with people in it waiting for her and took off.
We have contacted the Concord Police and they are aware of the situation, but I wanted to let Claycord.com know of this person driving around and looking for unlocked cars and open garages. They come at any time!
According to the tipster, the vehicle has been spotted in the Landana, Concord Boulevard & Clayton Way neighborhoods.
If you see a black mustang with a license plate that starts with “6S” and the people inside are acting suspicious, then call the police.

Good to know will keep an eye out for these scumbags
Thank you for the warning. Hopefully they will be caught.
ive seen this car parked by our street last night when i went for run.
only saw the first letter that started with 6.
I will be watching out for this car. You should plaster your neighborhood with signs of this pic. If they come back, they will know everyone is on the look out and will stay out of your neighborhood! Hopefully they read Claycord and already know they better just leave town!
On Another note: The Gas Stealers are back!!! They must have gotten startled last night because they left their hose right next to our car. They didnt get any of the gas…thank god! But with gas prices rising be on the lookout. The scum bags are at it again.
Ok , so on Friday there were two females walking up and down Farm Bureau…. A police man had stopped them , and asked what they were doing right in front of my house. I noticed whatever he told them , they were back walking on Farm Bureau walkin towards concord… I then went to police and mentioned they had been walking up and down quite a few times. I should mention I saw them walking on Farm Bureau the day before as well.. That time they were in heels… Anyways, I mentioned they had been strutting their stuff quote a few times, and the cop gasped because he believe their story of them loosing a phone somewhere on farm bureau…. ( that’s why it was ok to peek in people’s yards and bushes)
More crackheads yay. To answer your other post about carrying a gun, in times like these, we are all better off with less meth head, scum bag a-holes
My mailman who has been delivering mail in my neighborhood for years says he sees more and more individuals “roaming” around neighbors lately and he knows darn well they don’t live in the neighborhood. This should be a “heads up” to all of us to keep an eye out in our neighborhoods and for your neighbors for any potential odd and unusual behavior. If you suspect something unsual, then odds are there’s some going on.
Gas stealers got our street last night. My neighbor had an entire tankfull stolen last night. We are on Denkinger ct.
Is this a stolen car? Is this the same make and model of car that was at the crime scene in Antioch last week where the homeowner shot and killed an intruder during a home invasion, and a women was out front in the get away car? I’m so sick of these scumbags criminals in this world, but thanks to AB109 that was passed all these criminals are getting out of jail and prisions early putting them out on the streets. It very unfortunate that at these desperate times people are stooping to desperate measures. However, I have been unemployed for almost a year and can’t find a job that will keep a roof over my head and my kids, and I’m not going out and committing crimes. These are “LIFE TIME CRIMINALS” that need to be locked up and not let out. Last night b/t 7-8pm my doorbell rang and I did not answer it. I watched this black man/women go over to my neighbors where it was pitch dark at their house. I strongly believe in Antioch these fake sales people are going around these neighborhoods from Concord to Antioch to see if people are home and if they have alarms so the houses that don’t can be targeted at a later date for bugulary. It really sucks living in fear of someone that might just kick in your door during a home invasion robbery just like what occured not far from my house in Antioch, which is in a nice neighborhood. But the questions that arises, IS THERE SUCH A THING ANYMORE ABOUT A “NICE NEIGHBORHOOD” when these criminals are taking over everywhere. So frustrated and fed up.
What a stupid young woman. What is she their grunt mule to scope out any potential bounty to steal???
Young women that become infatuated with these jug heads are so besotted that they would throw their futures on the line. Pathetic…..
Thanks for letting everyone know. I’ll keep my eye out for these low-lifes. What scum! Hope they are caught.
Thanks for the heads up!!!!
This is exactly the kind of sharing we need to do in order for neighbor to help neighbor. Keep this kind of info coming everyone!
I’ve been thinking the same thing. I live opposite cvhs and last week two ‘kids’ sat outside my house smoking a joint, school was still in but there they were in plain view.
I called the non-emergency cpd number and was on hold for fifteen minutes before the kids upped and walked away towards clayton road, after throwing the lighter they’d been using into the street, I hung up then since there was no point trying to get anyone to come out.
These people know that nothing will be done so why should they stop what they’re doing?
The police could EASILY look into their system for late model Black Mustangs in the vicinity with their license plates starting “6S”
So why is that not happening?
That’s a pretty sweet ride though…
I’ll be on the lookout…always am. However, CPD never comes when I call.
Appreciate you taking the time to share this information.
I bet it’s a stolen rental car filled with tweakers, probably looking for the easy burglary or theft…
On Facebook Antioch has a group call “Take Back Antioch” where people share all types of info and solutions to problems. Maybe Claycord (Con/Clayton) area needs to put one together to keep everyone informed along with this site which is so awesome. The reality is that all PD’s are so overwhelmed and can’t keep up with the scumbags and the crimes that are happening everywhere. In Antioch there is one officer per 1000 residents and they are stretched beyond means and have to pick and chose what calls take priority. Being the wife of an officer I find out about a lot of things and the crimes are not specific to one area. It’s everywhere and getting worse. Knowing that the PD’s are so backlogged I think as residences and neighbors we can make our self visable to these people if they are parked out in front of a house or walking neighborhoods. Take down license plate numbers and descriptions of the car and people incase there is a crime at a later date. I do realize that folks might not want to get involved in fear of retailation, but we have to take a stand and fight back and TAKE BACK OUR NEIGHBORHOODS.
I always check claycord on Facebook to see what people are saying…..
@very concerned – I agree we need some sort of virtual “neighborhood watch”. We can’t rely on the police for very much any more. Concord PD seems to have become demoralized with their intra-PD lawsuits, office politics, and short term police chiefs. On top of that, we have a do-nothing city council that is quite happy to look the other way when it comes to the degradation of our city.
I guess we are on our own to solve these problems, neighborhood by neighborhood.
Actually this is a rent a car, we already had the police check it. I guess this is what they do. They rent a car and rip off a neighorhood for a few weeks and then take it back. Be aware of the twiks on bikes as well around the neighborhood. They case the streets and have the car waiting at the end. This is getting crazy!!!!
Love “Very Concerned” idea, would really help with neighborhood crime watch if we could post photos of suspicious vehicles and their owners. Would have really helped this long weekend, when I saw several suspicious cars, apparently scoping out the neighborhood. We do phone in plates to LE (sometimes) but a place to post photos, would be great also.
Jeepers ill be on the lookout
Thanks for the warning. My advice to everyone is never keep anything in your car and always keep your garage door closed, unless you are right there. I close mine if I have to go inside even for a couple of minutes just for that reason. Something else: if you do keep your car outside, bring your garage door opener inside with you. Don’t leave it in the car for any length of time.
Can we get a description of the woman?
sounds very tweakerish (meth, crank). women love the stuff. that’s how these guys are getting them to steal. watch out they steal anything not nailed down. no wait, the other day i heard of someones deck being stolen. you name it they’ll steal it. there’s something around that area alright. this wacko tweaker woman was pushing a cart in the middle of the road. i slowed down so as not to hit her, not that i didnt want to, and she went crazy. a skinny blonde female around 30 that rides a bike around clayton road on the clayton end, was stealing cans out of trash, i followed her around the neighborhood and some neighbors came out and watched her. this didnt phase her in the least. the trash co. is pretty useless in dealing with it and we all know there’s not enough cops to come out in time to run her off.
@me #16
No, that is incorrect. I previously had access to CLETS and ran all kind of license plates and VIN number on a daily basis. California does NOT denote model or color on vehicle registrations. So, the search results would give results for Ford 2D and 2DR starting with 6S in the whole state. I bet there is 50,000 cars matching that description. Maybe 500 of them are here in the bay area. Are the cops going to serve search warrants and kick down the doors of everyone who owns a black two door mustang, escort, thunderbird, focus, etc…?
Hey, finally someone that actually has some first hand information instead of someone just shooting their mouth off.
#16, clearly you must have some advanced ninja training in CLETS. Tell everyone, in detail, just how “EASY” it is and a step-by-step procedure for getting this info from the “system”. People like #16 watch a lot of CSI-type stuff on TV and then think they are some sort of genius crime fighting hero. In reality, things are nowhere near that simplified and “EASILY” done.
Dunno if the car really is a rental or not, but lately I have seen a black mustang matching description & license plate parked on Clayton Way near Willow Pass. Like maybe 5-7 houses in.
@Analogous #32
If you see the car again, be sure to write down the entire license plate number and report it to the police.
Tweekers and homeless people live @1885 Clayton Way or the apts. on Clayton Way and Willow Pass a Black Mustang always hangs out there.
These are the same suspicious people we saw the other night, they were parked right by the Palms motel, there were also several other suspicious men who were around the apartments and hotel at the same time, it appeared like they were scouting the area to do something and took off as soon as we went out by the area.
As for the lady in the car she was parked next to the hotel and said they were just talking but took off right after that. We will keep a diligent eye for them.
Interestingly enough a black mustang flew past me near my neighborhood, driving like an idiot and the license plate started with 6S…so I followed it. When I past where it stopped near Flamingo (in north concord) a female was getting out of the passenger side…. so I circled back around to see if I could get a plate…. it had pulled onto another side street with the driver still in the car, just sitting there… License plate was 6SGX927 – I think. I didn’t want to stop and be totally obvious.
From the Walnut Creek police logs of Feb. 10…
500 BL LAS LOMAS WY FEMALE IN BLK MUSTANG @6SGX927/ JUST ATTEMPTED TO STEAL FENCING FROM IFO THE RESD.. DISPO: CONTACTED DAYNA PERKINS WHO SAID SHE WAS LOST AND MOVED ITEM WHEN TURNING OUT OF DRIVEWAY. R/P DID NOT WANT CHARGES.
I love that you censor comments mr mayor, and delete them!
Wow, google is your friend:
http://www.walnut-creek.org/civica/filebank/blobdload.asp?BlobID=6560
That license number for a Black Mustang showed up in the Walnut Creek police report:
12-4925 02/10/12 11:59:29 500 BL LAS LOMAS WY FEMALE IN BLK MUSTANG @6SGX927/ JUST ATTEMPTED TO STEAL FENCING FROM IFO THE RESD.. DISPO: CONTACTED DAYNA PERKINS WHO SAID SHE WAS LOST AND MOVED ITEM WHEN TURNING OUT OF DRIVEWAY. R/P DID NOT WANT CHARGES. Susp. Circumstance 3 180 Kan
In the future, if I ever have an emergency and have to dial 911, I would exaggerate the circumstances just to get them out there. I’ve called after a car wreck with injuries and it took them 45 minutes or more to get out there. When they finally did, they said they were looking around the southbound exit when we said we were on northbound. Once the officer got there, he didn’t even want to get out of his car and made it seem like he didn’t want to take a report. My problem is: if they were looking on the southbound exit and didn’t see any cars on the side of the road, wouldn’t they think to look on the northbound exit?? After that, I’ve told myself to exaggerate from then on. Remember: When seconds count, the police are always minutes away!
So FYI, that makes it 2 nights in a row this car has been targeting my neighborhood. (By Glenbrook middle school)… why do I know this, because on Monday nightt they went through my car… I keep NOTHING in there. Must have left doors unlocked (Bad on my part) i heard them, by the time I got outside they were gone and my doors were left open. No damage. Then last night, as I reported earlier, I followed this car into my neighborhood and saw it dropping off it’s little POS thief and driving off a few blocks to wait for her. I will be looking for this car now… hope I find it.
That is super creepy. Sorry to those affected, and I hope these scalawags get caught soon.
This car is often at 1885 Clayton Way (as the above poster noted) and at the apartments near the corner of Clayton Way and Willow Pass.
Claycord should do a flashmob at 1885 Clayton Way and peer into her garage and take things out of her garbage and let her know the whole community is sick of criminal parasites.
Mr. Mayor, You really shouldn’t have mentioned the color of the Mustang. Mustangs of any color can be used for criminal enterprises. This only encourages all the colorists. Seriously, what were you thinking?
Cowellian strikes again. Hahaha
I spy a black mustang on Clayton Way @ 12:11pm
The 2 ladies were in their black Mustang at 7-11 on Olivera Road this morning. There were 2 ladies inside the vehicle that looked like they had not slept in weeks and their back seat was filled with all kinds of stuff. The license plate was 6GSX927. Tweakers for sure and thiefs on top of that. Hopefully someone will catch them in the act and get them off of the streets. If they come to my house I will gladly take care of them.
I wonder if the tweeker babes know they are being watched. Do they read (can they read) Claycord?
6SGX927
Good looking out! Somebody snap a picture of these tweakers
Does anyone know what the outcome of this is?! Seriously, that damn car was just parked outside my house with the exact same license plate. The people chilled in the car for a bit then drove off. They were very intensely looking at my house. Have they been caught and released?? I called the police and they were SO rude. The woman said, “ma’am I have no idea what you’re talking about” BEFORE I could even finish my sentence! She was talking to me like I was an idiot. I’m an advocate for the police Officers no doubt, but the dispatcher was very rude and shouldn’t be in this line of business if she is so miserable with her job. The police are currently driving through my neighborhood.
I spoke to the same dispatcher and she asked me where she should route my call. Really? Isn’t deciding that, your job description? After twenty long and tedious minutes on the phone, she dispatched uniformed CPD to my neighborhood. The black mustang is probably gone now, off stealing something else. Duh?
Unreal! I appreciate the CPD but wish they were doing more about it. We found the car. We got the entire plate number. We have the address where these people live. GO GET THEM! C’mon guys….
Everyone who sees this vehicle should call Concord PD and report a suspicious vehicle with tweakers inside.
#52,anon-why should everyone who spots this vehicle call the police and report tweakers and suspicious vehicle?Dont you think by now as many times and places it has been spotted the cops should have been able easily to have seen them and ‘jack them up’.Here are residents eveywhere spotting, following, watching and describing the suspects yet the cops havent crossed their path?Hey #29-tweaker alert, you would actually call the cops for some ‘skinny,30ish yr.old female taking, and i do mean taking, unlike your definition of stealing aluminum cans out of the trash.oooh big bad scary criminal.im sure as you probably know the cops have more important things to do then come running to your beckoning call for a female taking cans out of cans.Get a grip, put on your big boy pants and try talking to the individual and explain what your problem is with her doing this in your neighborhood.I could see if she were taking the cans out of a recycling bin how you might see it as stealing, but collecting them from the trash that was obviously meant for the trash,i couldnt think of it as stealing, just trying to get by.But you do what you feel you need to do in order to make your neighborhood a better place to live, meanwhile try getting the sand out of your vagina, you big sissified puss.
Ok… So the black mustang parked outside of the house that was put on blast here does NOT match the same license plate that was also posted here. The black mustang that was in front of my house yesterday in which I called the police about does NOT have the same license plate that the one parked at the house has now. BUT the car I called the cops on does match the license plate that was posted on here. So wtf is going on?? Either the black mustang I am currently looking at in front of that house is not the same one as the one that is doing the dirty work or they just switched out their plates…
@imrereurrere
2:34am? Are you smoking meth along side them?
@anon #55, considering the number of black mustangs with that body style just in claycord alone, it is not implausible that there be more than one involved in shady deeds. Not even within a single neighborhood. That being said, it is also not implausible that they are in fact switching the license plates. Even a two bit thug can manage a total of 4 screws to swap two license plates when needed.
Does anybody here understand a f#%cking word of imareamer’s rants?
Or it could be a fake post…
CJ, I can’t speak for everyone as far as imrereurrerre is concerned. I can tell you however that, I his being a big NASCAR weekend for me, I’ve been drinking since noon and I still can’t make heads or tails of that nonsense.
#56-what do you know about smoking meth?Huh?As far as I can tell these people in the black mustang have commited no crime?Am i right?Sure they are seen in a lot of places in the area or areas, and is suspicious and I am sure they are up to no good but how you gonna get the cops to mess with them if no crime has been committed. Its hard enough getting any services when a crime does occur.
Shame on you Dayna Perkins !!!
Black mustang @ 1885 Clayton Way Lic. 6MVV269 ( diff. lic. plate but same people up to no good)
They probably switched out their plates because someone tipped them off. Tweakers aren’t very smart
I bet you it’s the same kid from last year in Clayton that was stealing all the little kids stuff he drives a black mustang and he’s a thief its just a hunch
No, those kids were caught. They were teenager from CVHS. This black Mustang belongs to scumbag tweakers who are dealing dope, not some teenagers.
