Murder Updates – Five People Plead Not Guilty to Two Separate Homicides in Concord

Last year, Concord had seven murders, and all of the defendants in two of those homicides were in court this week.

On August 28th, Concord resident Ever Osorio was shot & killed inside Hillcrest Park. Tony Dwayne Martin, 19, and a 15-year-old male were arrested for the homicide. Both Martin & the juvenile pleaded not guilty in court this week, according to the Contra Costa Times, who attended the court hearing.

Then, on October 25th, the body of Shelby Barnes was found inside a home on Glenside Court. Three suspects, Donald Waldecker & Randi Dees, along with a juvenile were arrested for allegedly murdering the 21-year-old woman. The defendants were also in court this week, and all three pleaded not guilty, according to the Contra Costa Times.
