Upon arrival, they discovered the victim trapped under the rear portion of the vehicle.  Medical personnel responded, extricated her from under the vehicle and transported her to John Muir Hospital Walnut Creek.  The victim later died from her injuries.

The preliminary investigation revealed the victim was standing in the driveway when the vehicle began to roll backwards.  As she tried to stop the vehicle, it collided into her, trapping her underneath it.
