Jackass.

2 mike mac December 22, 2011 at 3:53 PM

I guess he failed basic physics in school. No one said he was going to be a brain surgeon. Although he may need one if he keeps up those stupid stunts.

3 Well, December 22, 2011 at 3:54 PM

Clayton Valley should be very proud.

4 Dr. Worm December 22, 2011 at 3:59 PM

He sounds incredibly intelligent.

Wonder if alcohol was involved ?

9 WC resident December 22, 2011 at 4:13 PM

Icarus tried this stunt a few thousand years ago. It did not work for him either.

10 Living in Claycord December 22, 2011 at 4:23 PM

Sure it is Workaholics and not Jackass? Sorry he hurt himself so badly, but it was a stupid prank. What are kids thinking these days – or are they?

11 GoGo Gomez December 22, 2011 at 4:24 PM

Dee Da Dee!

12 Rob December 22, 2011 at 4:26 PM

13 Mrs. A December 22, 2011 at 4:28 PM

Sorry but what a dumbass!

14 Ian December 22, 2011 at 4:37 PM

And that’s why you don’t do that.

15 Kmomma December 22, 2011 at 4:39 PM

I hope he has a speedy recovery… And I hope all of you grinch like folk grow some hearts… :)

Darwin. ’nuff said.

17 anonymous December 22, 2011 at 4:44 PM

Yay Clayton Valley! You guys are so smart. Why on earth would you want to become a Charter?

18 Clayton Valley Highlander December 22, 2011 at 4:45 PM

I graduated from CVHS, and I was never very smart either.

19 anon December 22, 2011 at 4:47 PM

The guys from Jackass are laughing all the way to the bank — I guess this guy thought he could, too.

20 rich December 22, 2011 at 4:48 PM

Has there been any research on what age males figure out they are not invincible?

21 I am sorry he hurt his back December 22, 2011 at 4:55 PM

and I hope he fully recovers. But his stunt was ill advised at best. I wonder if he will sue someone. Or ask someone to draft legistlation that requires homeowners patrol their roof tops for dumb shits and lay pads around their homes to protect these dumb shits from, hurting themselves.

I truly doubt anyone will convince the kid he’s dumb, it always has to be someone else’s fault.

22 Clayton Thug December 22, 2011 at 5:03 PM

Bad move

23 Mik December 22, 2011 at 5:05 PM

Wtf, idiot. Alcohol was definitely involved. Looks like that was a beer pong table.

24 @Kmomma December 22, 2011 at 5:09 PM

@15
Grow up, this kid was an idiot. Yet he makes the news alongside murders and robberies. K momma?

26 No Sympathy December 22, 2011 at 5:17 PM

Sorry, but it’s called personal responsibility. You do something idiotic like this and you have to live with the consequences.

Maybe this will be a wake up call.

27 the Shi ite December 22, 2011 at 5:34 PM

More like JERKAHOLICS. Will Obamacare be covering Morons like this as well as those that need legitimate healthcare?

28 Barbara December 22, 2011 at 5:44 PM

Next season: Dopey will be singing — “Heigh-ho, heigh-ho. It’s off the roof I go.”

29 Scoots December 22, 2011 at 6:18 PM

As long as he was already up there he should have peed on the power lines first.

30 e@yahoo.com December 22, 2011 at 6:18 PM

haha man what a crazy guy! i bet that party was off the hook!!!

31 I'm sure his attorneys December 22, 2011 at 6:31 PM

are currently drafting lawsuits against the owner of the house, the manufacturer of the table, and Sir Issac Newton.

32 Funny December 22, 2011 at 6:35 PM

That show is awesome and I feel bad for him. You people need a sense of humor. Can’t wait until you all end up in the hospital, cause someday you will.

33 hmm December 22, 2011 at 6:44 PM

Bunch of grumpy geriatrics on here.

34 CN December 22, 2011 at 6:47 PM

If you want to live your life in pain or a paraplegic jump from a roof onto a table.

35 CJ December 22, 2011 at 6:56 PM

Funny:
You may be right, I very well may end up in a hospital someday. But it won’t be because of my own stupidity. Don’t lecture the posters on here that are ridiculing this asshat. Accident’s happen, but this was no accident.

36 anonanonagain December 22, 2011 at 6:57 PM

Wow. I never understand why young men think that they can pull off such dangerous stunts and not get injured. The party goers insensitivity and laughter as he plummets to the ground and is obviously injured is disturbing. Since when is watching someone in obvious pain and torment entertainment??? We indeed live in a demented world…….

37 Hey you!! December 22, 2011 at 7:14 PM

@ Funny, you are obviously of high school age or have the mentality of one. You find someone injuring themselves and writhing in pain humorous?? Pretty warped mindset. You are actually looking forward to people being injured and put into a hospital?? You have a warped and twisted mindset, but unfortunately you do NOT have sense of humor. Seek a therapist…….

38 DoubleTap December 22, 2011 at 7:20 PM

Play stupid games…………..Win stupid prizes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

39 Pamela Newacheck December 22, 2011 at 7:28 PM

Blake made it through surgery and it appeared to go well. Not the smartest thing he’s ever done, but I know he’d appreciate any love and support you can find in your heart. Hoping and praying for a speedy recovery.

40 Some Guy December 22, 2011 at 7:30 PM

Wow, you couldn’t see that coming!!!!

41 Cowellian December 22, 2011 at 7:30 PM

Some of us are smart enough to learn from the mistakes of others. My Mom’s cousin was married to a doctor who jumped from a second floor window into their pool. He spent the rest of his life in a wheelchair.

The good news is that they have made huge strides in the treatment of back injuries. I hope Anderson improves, but more importantly, I hope others learn from his mistakes.

42 Ron White December 22, 2011 at 7:49 PM

NOTE to the younger generation video games may have a reset button, life doesn’t.

43 palermo December 22, 2011 at 8:01 PM

#33, there’s a reason many of us made it to retirement …

44 Wolf December 22, 2011 at 8:10 PM

Seems like a typical CVHS graduate.

45 Dangerous December 22, 2011 at 8:25 PM

He should’a took a class in stupid management!

46 Dangerous December 22, 2011 at 8:38 PM

This is my whole premise, when life is too easy it naturally retards the maturation process, so now this physical adult is walking around with a two bit brain that has been spared the survive skill of critical thinking and as such has landed himself in critical codition! Brainiac!
You need look no further than momma and pappa for contributors and enablers to such juvenile behavior. This kids is suffering from poor parenting, he now has to do the job of growing up without the aid of mom and dad making correct dicisions for him. So far he now doing well.

47 Connie Dobbs December 22, 2011 at 8:43 PM

#32 Humor is subjective.
We will also all end up in line at the DMV. When do you get your big kid license?

48 Curious December 22, 2011 at 8:50 PM

Maybe he’ll reconsider his efforts to become a Darwin recipient. Of course, if his spine is really bad, he may never again have the ability to follow through physically with any plans he may have.

49 Subterfuge December 22, 2011 at 8:50 PM

As a CVHS grad I was able to figure out that it is better to throw someone off a roof than to jump from the roof. But I went to CVHS in a different erra.

50 CN December 22, 2011 at 9:06 PM

If he survives this without permanent injuries, God willing, he needs to go to CVHS and speak to the kids about how very dangerous this was and what could have happened.

51 quinn December 22, 2011 at 9:20 PM

thanks for the update mrs newacheck. he’ll be in my thoughts and prayers over the holiday weekend.

52 Galetron December 22, 2011 at 9:29 PM

You all hate on him now, but his successful tv show (which will most likely et a third season) has him making more money than most of us simple folk. I wish for a speedy recovery, Blake!

53 CJ December 22, 2011 at 10:03 PM

Tyler:
In days gone by I participated in sky-diving, bungy jumping, barefoot waterskiing and snowboarding. In those endeavors, I would have been unlucky to get hurt or killed. This kid needed good luck just to avoid injury. There’s a price for stupidity.

54 Poollady December 22, 2011 at 10:48 PM

Trolls….taint the whole effing site. Peace out, so over the crap.

55 diggler December 22, 2011 at 11:18 PM

sweet, kyle’s mom reads claycord. thanks for the update mrs newacheck. although this was a bone-headed stunt by Blake, I gotta say I love the show. kudos to your son and the others. i can see how the show mostly appeals to the “youngerish” crowd =P’

56 diggler December 22, 2011 at 11:19 PM

edit – sorry I guess I am assuming you’re Kyle’s mother

57 Anon777 December 23, 2011 at 6:32 AM

I hope he fully recovers and decides to leave the JACKA$$ stunts behind.

58 rascul December 23, 2011 at 7:00 AM

Great, now he will be disabled and we can pick up the tab for being stupid.

59 sunflower December 23, 2011 at 9:39 AM

#39 Pamela Newacheck: Thanks for your post and the update. I’m glad the surgery went well. And hope Blake has a full and speedy recovery and gets his bear coat on again soon!

I love watching the kids on Workaholics and usually don’t open the comments on Claycord because they can be so thoughtless.

My daughter even asked for a “Free Karl” tshirt for Christmas! Having watched your boys grow up at St. Andrews makes it even more fun to follow Kyle’s and Blake’s success. JoAnne Norman

61 Julie Scheibner December 23, 2011 at 10:49 AM

Obviously he woke up the next morning in the hospital bed, and realized what had happened to him..you can’t go back in time, only forward…..please .sign your first name and last name forward if you’re going to leave insensitive remarks…otherwise Dangerous, wolf, double tap, barbara….think before you write insensitive comments..all of us are aware what happened…think about the people that care about him..Merry Christmas!

62 JR Concord December 23, 2011 at 10:50 AM

Merry christmas mom,
As 1 of 7 boys growing up, over 40 years my brothers and I have presented our mother with 2 body casts for christmas . “Hes going to walk again” …… “dont worry hes tough ” …”all part of the maturing process”….. “hey!! hey wasnt riding a motorcycle without a helmet”.
Count your blessings Mom!!!!
Merry New Year
Happy Christmas
Go Niners!!!!!!!!!!!!

63 I'm The Urban Spaceman December 23, 2011 at 1:10 PM

Alcohol and youth, a dangerous combo. I hope he has a speedy recovery and does not end up addicted to pain killers.

64 ANON December 23, 2011 at 1:13 PM

@ FJC, hopefully Blake won’t have to do his dangerous antics from a wheelchair while wearing a colostomy bag.

65 Basel December 23, 2011 at 10:29 PM

Well, at least his aim was good. He landed on a table, breaking his fall. Had he missed or didn’t have a table available, well, that would be another story.

66 N. Concord Quagmire December 24, 2011 at 12:33 AM

Put more money to education I said!

The schools are pooping out the morons by the dozen, I said!

Pfffft

67 Cruella December 26, 2011 at 8:56 AM

Best wishes for a speedy and full recovery.

68 Kayla December 28, 2011 at 11:47 AM

Sftu, Blake is raw as hell!! Sure he got a little wild at a party but that doesnt make him stupid.

69 @Kayla December 28, 2011 at 12:18 PM

Yes, it does make him stupid.
