My daughter was the victim of the 2nd burglary on this list, on Grammercy Ln. Sad thing as she lived with her great grandpa whom we recently lost. Thus the house was sold and she now has to move home. Before she could someone broke in and stole all her jewelry. Not top grade stuff but meant a lot to her. The really sad part is they stole a music box that belonged to her grandmother who we tragically lost 9 years ago on Oct. 4th. The box also contained pictures of them and had other personal effects. Also a pair of prescription glasses that belonged to her grandma as well. These things couldn’t possibly mean anything to anyone else and will probably end up in the trash. Thief also got away with her softball bag, with cleats and a couple of expensive bats.
I find it very sad as most of these things weren’t valuable, but as I mentioned had a lot of personal meaning. My heart breaks for the person who committed this as well. I’m sorry you feel this is what you choose to do with the precious life God gave you. I know from personal experience that one day you will likely deeply regret these acts. It will stay with you. I pray that you find a better meaning and worth for your life.
I implore you if you happen to read this to at least return the personal items that you cannot trade for money or dope. It would mean much to another human being and is a small thing on your part. Just drop them off where you got them.
You also took a pair of aluminum playing cards from the 1908 St. Louis Worlds Fair that I gave my daughter when she turned 16, as she loves and collects playing cards. All I can say is, “Thanks a lot.” Again, I don’t even know if they’re worth much but had special meaning to us.
This is what we needed after dealing with our recent loss.
If anyone lives in the area then please be careful and watchful. If anyone knows anything about this, feel free to comment.
To the perp, “Good Luck in life, I will be praying for you as I truly feel your pain and wish more for you. It would have been really nice if you hadn’t chose this for yourself.”
