The missing man in Walnut Creek we reported on earlier tonight, is back home safe, thanks to a fellow Claycordian!
Our friend “Sinn Feiner” saw the missing man, Balchandra Samnath, walking earlier this evening before he read the report on Claycord. Once “Sinn Feiner” saw the report, he phoned WCPD, and went back to look for Samnath in the area of Contra Costa Boulevard & Pacheco Boulevard, and found him.
Here’s what “Sinn Feiner” said about the discovery of the at-risk adult….
Good job Mayor! We helped get this guy back home safely. I figured he had to be either in Martinez or on Pacheco Blvd. so I went out looking for him. Sure enough he was walking down the sidewalk in Pacheco. I stopped and spoke with him until the WCPD got the Sheriff’s out there to get him back home. The guy was a little disoriented.
Poor guy, but thanks to you, Sinn Feiner, he’s back home tonight where he belongs! Great job, and thanks for going back out to look for him after you spotted him earlier in the evening!

Great work Sinn Feiner and Mayor! Sinn Feiner, if you are out in the area of Port Chicago & Bates, be on the lookout for a missing greyhound. Greyhound Rescue lost one out there just recently.

I’m heading out towards Bates and PCH right now anon on my bike ride so I’ll keep an eye out for it! The last time somebody reported a missing dog here on Claycord.com, I saw it on my bike ride that night on Nelson Ave. and tried to catch it. The dog was way too fast for me though. The owner though ended up catching it out there on PCH a few days later!

Sinn Feiner – here is more info on the lost greyhound. It is a white dog with black spots – female. Lost about 1 month ago in Pittsburg between Bailey Rd. and Willow Pass. If you see it do not approach it – it will run. Call Greyhound Rescue at 1-800-GHOUNDS asap. It has been sited and keeps moving. It was tracked going into the CNWS. Thanks!
