This cute little girl is lost, and her owners need help finding her….
My golden chihuahua/papillon mix got out from my friends yard on sunday july 25th on Linden Drive in Concord, off Monument Blvd.
She’s about 4 lbs with longish blonde hair. Her ears stick straight up and are WAY too big for her little head. Shes only about 10 months old and I know shes missing her mom and sister.
Any help is greatly appreciated! I have plastered what felt like all of concord with posters, but any more exposure I can get will help! Thank you so much for your consideration! I attached a picture of my little Charlie.
Anybody see, or have Charlie? If so, email me at mayor@claycord.com!

Awwww, what a little sweetie! I hope kind-hearted person finds her and sees your posters or this blog. I love her big ears!
I hope you find your little angel soon. She is just so cute, those ears just kill me! Please keep us posted!
I live in this neighborhood and saw your signs everywhere. I have been keeping my eye out for her as I drive about. She is a doll and I know she’ll come home soon!
I was just making my morning coffee run and saw a “FOUND DOG” sign on Carey, which is one street over from Linden. The phone # is 525-7820. I have a feeling you’ve already called that # since you have signs on that street also, I’m sure you saw it, but thought I’d post it just in case.
Mayor, maybe you can email Charlie’s owner this info just in case?
OMGoodness! She is too cute for words….. I will keep my eyes open!
Uh oh this does not sound like good news!
I highly recommend you do all of the following:
1. go to our local shelter and look for her (of course) AND go to http://www.co.contra-costa.ca.us/index.aspx?nid=2451 and report your dog missing.
2. Go to http://www.fidofinder.com
3. Call the Contra Costa Times and put in a free ad in the lost pet section. If you do it today, they will print it by Thursday and you should see the ad for 2 weeks. I hope someone will make an effort to find her home.
I’ll keep my fingers and toes crossed.
I wonder how many channels they get with those ears.
Seriously, she’s a doll. I hope she finds her way home soon. (Be sure to check the animal shelters!)
Nikki P – I’m not positive but I think the “found” ads are the only free ones in the CC times. I could be mistaken, and it’s still a good idea.
Aw – I hope you find her soon. She’s so cute – I just want to hold her and kiss her and make her one of my crew…..
Since Charlie is 10 months old, this looks like a good, recent picture. This is a good reminder to everyone else: have an up-to-date picture of your pet at all times.
My son came across pictures of our cat from when she was a kitten the other day and asked who that was. An old dog whose muzzle has gone white won’t be recognizable if you only have a picture from when he was 3 years old.
Concord Cat Lady- You’re right. It is only for found dogs…..I’ve posted them a
.
handful of times so i just assumed LOST pets would be free too. The web is free although Claycord is WAY better.
That’s not a dog, it’s a rat!
